Keeping the promise to the Finnish customers, SME opens a new company in Tampere as of 01.01.2009
SME is a privately owned group with over 30 years experience in the Nordic markets.
We offer our customers a strategic partnership covering the comprehensive purchasing needs of an industrial company. During the last years we have successfully built up the capacity to cover all significant elements of the purchasing matrix: materials, products and assemblies for mechanical, electric, electronic, electro-mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic sectors. We are always ready to provide for standard, customized, alternative or hard-to-find solutions utilizing our world-wide network of suppliers and assembly partners.
The scope of our supplies and services grows almost daily as the new challenges are presented to us by the expanding circle of satisfied customers. Mastering of the novelties became an essential part of our expertise and our service – however new and unexpected would the next task be, we know how to solve the riddle and reach the desired results.
Our lean and flexible organization allows us to remain highly competitive and to react quickly to the market changes. Our logistics and storage centre is located in Rauschenberg, in geographical middle of Germany, which guarantees for the quickest logistics whichever direction our goods are coming from. Our sales office has been moved to Heikendorf/ Kiel in the very North of the country in order to reach closer proximity to our target markets. Our office in Tampere will keep the close contact to the new customers in Central Finland and provide for the further growth and development in this key market. Further local offices and Finland as well as companies in other Nordic countries shall follow soon.
